Drawing was where I started and what has led me to every other medium. Even as I work with clay, I think of myself as drawing marks into it and on it.  Parts of my creative process are spontaneous.  Coming up with a new creature or idea usually starts with scribbles on a page.  After the intention is set with those initial creations, then the planning begins and I can easily spend weeks working on one image.

DRAWINGS AND PAINTINGS

My Wall Hangings have an Eastern feeling to them.  They are intended to invoke a feeling of calm and warmth.  They are architectural pieces in a way that are also influenced by old bound books.
