Here is number 2 in my series of recycled kitchen cabinets, exploring the majesty of the animals behind the “products” in our kitchens. This was a lovely young dairy cow I met after taking a cable car up to Mannlichen from Wengen in Switzerland. She was calmly standing with another cow, the fog of morning obscuring the mountains behind her. Oblivious to the plight of a factory cow, she went about eating grass in one of the purest and most beautiful places in the world.
This piece is a combination of acrylics on the outer aspects and oil paint in the central panel.
